Robi Craig began her artistic quest at an early age. Strongly encouraged and influenced by her mother, a profesional costume designer, Robi studied Fine Arts at San Diego State University. While pursuing her Bachelor of Arts degree, Robi experimented with a wide variety of mediums including watercolor and acrylic painting, hand-built and wheel-thrown ceramics, woodcarving, jewelry design, and leaded glass window design. Her discovery of silk painting came later and became her overall focus.

With nature as her primary source of inspiration, she creates unique, colorful paintings that fill the viewer with a sense of excitement and pleasure.

In addition to her career as an artist, Robi also influences the lives of approximately 450 students a year as an art instructor at Serrano Intermediate School in Lake Forest, California.

The sea and its tropical surroundings are the most frequent themes for Robi's vibrant silk paintings. Her work is featured in the United States, Europe and Japan. Limited edition giclee reproductions of Robi's paintings can also be found in the galleries aboard Princess Cruises luxury liners.
